1. On the day of your arrival your holiday apartment is available from 3 p.m. On the day of departure all apartments are to be vacated by 10 a.m.
2. A deposit is payable at the time of booking of £80. Once the booking has been confirmed and confirmation issued, the deposit will form a binding contract between the client and Rye Farm (Owners). Deposits are non-refundable unless the owners are unable to accept the booking.
3. Full balance for your stay is due 4 weeks (28 days) before the day of arrival. If this is not paid the owners have the right to cancel the holiday, and the deposit will be lost (We will send one reminder for this 1 week (7 days) before this is due to the email address supplied with the booking). For bookings made within 4 weeks (28 days) of planned arrival date, full payment is required on receipt of your booking confirmation.
4. We would strongly advise that you obtain a holiday cancellation insurance to prevent any losses.
5. All cancellations by the client must be in writing. For holidays cancelled by the client, the client will be liable for the total cost of the holiday to the owners. If we can re-let the accommodation, all monies less the deposit, expenses, costs, and losses incurred by the owners will be refunded.
6. We offer a minimum of two (2) nights stay any of our accommodation, but our change over days are flexible.
7. The accommodation must not be sub-let and the numbers on the booking form must not be exceeded.
8. We do not accept dogs or any other pets at Rye Farm, as we are still a working farm
9. The owners or their representative shall be allowed access to the accommodation at any reasonable time for maintenance or inspection.
10. The client is responsible for leaving the accommodation in good order and in a clean condition. Any equipment or furniture if moved must be returned to its original position. The client will be held responsible for the loss or breakage of any fittings, utensils, crockery, or cutlery. Please report any loss or breakages. Damage to property; Normal wear and tear will not be charged. Where an outside contractor is required to repair damage, a charge will be made. Charges will be passed on to you directly.
11. The owners accept no responsibility for any injury, sickness, loss, additional expenses, or inconvenience, directly or indirectly caused by or arising from the use of the properties or access. We do all that we can to ensure that the accommodation is kept to a very high standard; we hope that you will help us to keep it that way.
12. Please remember that you are staying on a working farm, we do have areas of open unfenced water and it is the responsibility of parents and carers to keep close supervision of their own children around these areas. Machinery may also be travelling around the farm area at busy times of the year.
13. We have CCTV in place around the farm, we have ensured that this is not directed at any of the holiday lets, this is to protect the safety of the farm and the surrounding areas.
14. The Hirer is not permitted to move any furniture or equipment without prior consent from the Owner. In the event of such permission being granted, it is the Hirer’s responsibility to return the same to its original position before checkout. Under no circumstances must any furniture or equipment for use inside the property be moved outside.
15. The holiday lets at Rye Farm are strictly non-smoking if you wish to smoke, please do this away from the accommodation and kindly dispose the cigarette butts in the bin.
16. We ask you to kindly keep to a speed limit of 10 mph around the farm area due to the wildlife in the area and children playing.
17. There are two barbeques available to be used by the three apartments at client’s own risk. We do ask that these are left clean and covered after use. A chimney starter, and one full chimney of coal briquettes (suitable for 2 hours of cooking) is supplied. If you require any further coal, please request this from Rye Farm at an additional cost. A Gas BBQ is available for use in the courtyard, with BBQ tools also available.
