Self-Catering Accommodation
We have four high-class self-catering holiday apartments. Each is furnished and comprehensively equipped to a high standard. The facilities available to guests in each of our apartments include:
- Central Heating - at no extra charge.
- Colour Television, DVD Player and stereo system.
- Wi-Fi Broadband Access.
- Ample car parking close to the apartments.
- Freedom to use and enjoy Rye Farm's garden. Guests are also free to walk in the nearby fields.
- Laundry facilities: Washing machine and tumble dryer.
The apartments can be booked to start on any day of the week. Depending on availability short breaks may be booked, subject to a 3 night minimum stay. At the foot of this page you will find information on pricing and how to check availability.
Children (minimum age 2 years) are welcome. However parents and carers should be aware of the need for close supervision of young children whilst outdoors because of unfenced water (the moat).
Restrictions:
• Smoking is not permitted in any of the apartments.
• As we are a working farm we are unable to accept dogs or other pets.
The Courtyard
The Courtyard, a converted former farm building, has two en-suite bedrooms. It is suitable for a family of up to four people or for two couples.
Facilities of The Courtyard, in addition to those listed at the head of this page, include:
- Two twin-bedded en-suite rooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. In each room the twin beds can be made up as a double bed on request.
- Disabled access to the ground floor.
- Comfortably furnished lounge with integral dining area and kitchen.
- Well-equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher.
- Separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Cart Lodge, Pond View and The Granary
These three apartments are in a building erected during the 17th century, probably around the same time as the farmhouse. Originally built as a cart lodge, to house the farm's horse-drawn carts, the first floor served for some time as a granary. In 2009 we completed the conversion of the former cart lodge into the three holiday apartments. In a sensitive conversion some of the old posts and beams have been retained and incorporated as attractive interior features.

Guests in Cart Lodge, Pond View and The Granary also have the use of a patio, with tables and chairs, situated at the rear of the property.
Cart Lodge
Sleeps up to 2. King size double bed.
The apartment is suitable for disabled guests.
All doors are wheelchair width.
Walk-in wet room.
All accommodation is on the ground floor.

Pond View

The Granary
Suitable for 2 adults and 2 young children OR 3 adults.
Master bedroom with King size double bed.
Second bedroom with single bed and a single chair bed.

Arrival and Departure
Your apartment will be available from 3-00pm on your day of arrival. You are asked to contact Rye Farm two or three days beforehand, to advise your estimated time of arrival.
You are asked to vacate the apartment by 10-00am on the day of departure so that it can be prepared for the next guests. Please leave it as clean and tidy as you would hope to find it.
The above arrival and departure times may be varied by mutual agreement, depending on other bookings for the apartment.
Prices and Payment Arrangements – 2021
The prices below are inclusive of all linen, towels, and electricity.
PAYMENT: A deposit of £100 per week for weekly bookings, £60 for a 4 or 3 night stay, is required at the time of booking. The full balance must be received at least four weeks before your planned date of arrival. For bookings made within 4 weeks of the planned arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Deposits and other payments are non-refundable and guests are advised therefore to arrange their own cancellation insurance.
We are able to accept payment by cheque or bank transfer only as we do not have credit or debit card facilities.
